Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise day to day operational activities related to ship operation.
2. Ensure compliance with organization procedures and industry regulations to ensure the safe operation of ships.
3. Manage primary communications link with the Ship's Master also manage relation with customers.
4. Monitor the ship movements and cargo transfer operations.
5. Analyze ships operational data to improve efficiency, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
6. Develop and oversee marine operation schedules to ensure optimal vessel utilization and on-time performance.
7. Coordinate with operations, logistics, and port authorities for efficient berthing and cargo handling activities.
8. Monitor fleet performance, voyage plans, and fuel consumption to improve operational efficiency.
9. Analyze marine traffic, forecast shipping demands, and prepare operational reports for management.
10. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all marine planning activities.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in marine operations, planning, or shipping management.
3. Strong knowledge of vessel scheduling, port operations, and maritime regulations.
4. Excellent analytical, coordination, and leadership skills.
5. Proficient in MS Office and marine planning software (e.g., ShipNet, IMOS, or equivalent).
