OVERVIEW
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fireplace fixtures for residential clients. Your role involves troubleshooting electrical issues with lighting fixtures and fans.
Essential Functions of role
- Install, service, and repair gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplace systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and ventilation issues using appropriate testing equipment and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed reports outlining work performed, materials used, and recommended follow-up.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, local codes, and company standards while operating tools and equipment properly.
- Provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with clients and team members, and meet established service timelines.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with methods and procedures.
- General experience as a handyman is beneficial.
- Experience operating midsize vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.
