This is a role focused on execution, people support, and service quality. It is well-suited for an early to mid-career leader who thrives on direct operational involvement. If you have transitioned into leadership over the last few years, this position offers an ideal, supportive environment to refine your operational capabilities and expand your people management expertise.

If you enjoy leading from the front, building team capability, and being part of a fast-moving service operation, this could be a great next step.

• Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and confidence
• Monitoring service quality and stepping in to resolve issues when needed
• Working closely with customers to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery
• Supporting scheduling, resource planning, and operational coordination
• Ensuring health & safety standards are followed across all sites
• Assisting with reporting and contributing to ongoing service improvements
• Occasional travel to the Nelson and Marlborough regions may also be required (company vehicle provided)

What We’re Looking For

• Around 2-4 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisor role (service or operations environment preferred)
• Someone who enjoys being hands-on and close to the team, rather than purely strategic
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Confidence in handling day-to-day people matters and customer interactions
• Good organisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine interest in developing people and building team culture
• Full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence  with a clean record

Why Join Us?

• Solid, stable role with a manageable team size
• Opportunity to grow your leadership capability with support
• Varied, fast-paced work where no two days are the same
• Be part of a team that values practical leadership and teamwork
