The Senior Architect within the Enterprise Architecture team, will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across the enterprise architecture landscape, and AI while serving as the primary authority for ServiceNow platform architecture. This role combines deep knowledge of enterprise architecture principles with hands-on experience in designing and governing ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise standards. ​

• This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia.

• This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. 

• This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

What you’ll do

• Define and evolve the ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap aligned with business needs 

• Lead solution design across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITOM,HRSD, CSM, ITAM, SAM, GRC, SecOps, Integration Services, AI, ITSM/DevOps) 

• Establish and enforce platform standards, design patterns, and governance 

• Drive adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities and releases, Experience designing scalable,resilient infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments

• Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across projects to ensure security, data integrity, scalability, and upgradeability 

• Partner with other Architecture disciplines and Platform/Product teams, to ensure that ServiceNow is well integrated and strategically positioned within the enterprise ecosystem.

• Ability to evaluate, integrate, and govern AI tools within existing technology ecosystems

• Develop reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and design templates 

• Mentor ServiceNow engineers and foster a community of practice 

What experience you need 

• 7+ years experience in enterprise or solution architecture with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level systems across multiple domains 

• 3+ years of deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design 

• Demonstrated success in architecting large-scale, complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules 

• 3+ years and expertise in core ServiceNow components: Service Catalog, Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, CMDB, Discovery, Performance Analytics, Custom Apps, etc. 

• Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, GRC, or other key ServiceNow modules 

• Experience with integration design patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.) 

• Hands-on development experience: JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, ServiceNow Studio/App Engine

• 1 year or more experience with agentic AI architectures, AI skills development, and practical application of GenAI in enterprise environments

What could set you apart

• Knowledge of networking, compute, storage, and security architecture patterns

• Demonstrated experience with Generative AI technologies and platforms including GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude

• Ability to leverage cloud-native GCP/AWS services while architecting particular products and platforms

• Experience with multi-cloud design patterns and cloud migration strategies

• Strong understanding of both security and DevOps principles

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub (version control, Actions, workflows), and automated deployment processes

• Ability to design and implement solutions that meet the security and compliance requirements of the organization

• Experience working with developers and operations teams to ensure that solutions are implemented in a way that does not impact the development or deployment process
