About the role

We are currently looking for a Senior Urban Designer/Planner for our ongoing Railway Infrastructure Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess potential sites for the transport hub, considering accessibility, existing infrastructure, land use patterns, and future development requirements.
• Develop a comprehensive plan for the hub, integrating various transportation modes and facilities to optimize connectivity, efficiency, and user experience.
• Design the hub layout and circulation patterns to facilitate seamless transfers between different modes of transportation.
• Ensure that accessibility features are incorporated into the design to accommodate users of all ages and abilities.
• Integrate green infrastructure and sustainable transportation practices into the hub's design, development, and operations.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and build support for the project.
• Develop policies, guidelines, and regulations that support the planning, development, and operation of the hub.
• Oversee project implementation from planning through construction, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful and timely completion.
• Review and provide recommendations on planning, design, and operational matters related to the transport hub.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader in connection with the project.

About You:

• He/She should have graduation in Urban Planning or relevant subject
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in urban planning, transportation planning, or a related field.
• Preferably 10 years of experience in the transportation sector, including planning and development of transport infrastructure and facilities.
• At least 8 years of experience in similar feasibility studies and design consultancy projects.
• Preferably 5 years of experience as an Urban Planner or in a similar position on comparable consultancy assignments.
• Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, and development of integrated transportation or urban infrastructure projects.
• Working experience in SAARC and/or ASEAN countries will be considered an advantage.
