Serve as the regional technical expert for SAP technology within Lifecycle Services. Own complex technical deliverables and service execution across multiple licensees, connecting customers and plant operations with Engineering, Product Development, R&D, and the Technology Manager.
The role combines SAP product expertise, hands-on plant experience, technical leadership, and customer engagement to deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality services.

 

Essential Responsibilities

Business & Customer Leadership

• Develop trusted relationships with SAP licensees and key stakeholders.
• Identify service growth, technology upgrade, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Represent LCS in customer meetings, workshops, technical discussions, and sales support.
• Coordinate priorities and communication across customers and internal functions.
• Build regional capability through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.

Technical Leadership & Service Delivery

• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, process optimization, and plant performance evaluations.
• Support commissioning, startup, and process guarantee runs for new and existing plants.
• Lead multidisciplinary service projects and ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to LCS standards.
• Prepare or review technical reports, procedures, training materials, and service documentation.
• Deliver SAP technology and operations training for plant personnel.

Innovation & Product Development

• Translate operating experience and customer feedback into product and technology improvements.
• Support development, qualification, trials, industrial validation, and commercialization of SAP products and grades.
• Capture and share lessons learned, best practices, and market needs.

Safety & Operational Excellence

• Promote process safety, reliability, environmental performance, quality, and operational excellence.
• Support incident investigations, HAZOPs, risk assessments, plant audits, and technology reviews.
• Drive improvements in safety, productivity, performance, and cost.

Basic Qualifications:

A customer-focused and self-driven technical professional who can operate independently in a global, multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively from plant floor to executive level. 

Must be fluent in English.

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemical, Process, Polymer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years in SAP plant operations, preferably with UV belt reactor technology or other SAP technologies.

Hands-on experience in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and process optimization.

Strong understanding of SAP chemistry, product performance, and industrial manufacturing processes.

Experience working across Operations, Engineering, Product Development, Technology, and R&D.

Mobility

Willingness to travel internationally to support licensees and strategic projects.
