Sobre esta vaga de Senior Technical Implementation Architect, Interoperability na Unite Us
Job Title: Senior Technical Implementation Architect, Interoperability
Department: Product Delivery
About the Role: The Senior Technical Implementation Architect, Interoperability is a hands-on technical role that provides interoperability expertise for enterprise and strategic customer implementations involving APIs, FHIR, identity, authentication, healthcare data standards, enterprise integration patterns, and customer data exchange. This role partners with customer technical leaders, implementation partners, technology vendors, and internal cross-functional teams to evaluate technical feasibility, guide interoperability planning, develop technical recommendations, and deliver successful interoperability implementations.
As the primary technical owner for assigned strategic customer implementations, this role leads interoperability planning, applies sound technical judgment to guide technical decision-making, translates complex customer requirements into practical implementation approaches, and independently determines when to engage Product, Engineering, Security, or Data throughout delivery. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, independent technical judgment, and the ability to move fluidly between system-level understanding and implementation-level detail.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned strategic customer implementations, leading interoperability planning and technical execution from planning through successful delivery.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, analyze solution tradeoffs, and recommend technical approaches aligned with customer requirements and platform capabilities.
- Evaluate interoperability requirements within the broader customer technology ecosystem, identifying system boundaries, systems of record, integration and orchestration responsibilities, and dependencies requiring customer or ecosystem-level governance decisions.
- Participate in technical discovery sessions, interoperability workshops, and implementation planning with customer technical leaders, implementation partners, technology vendors, and internal cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and interoperability expertise.
- Provide technical leadership across customer engagements requiring strong technical judgment, systems thinking, and interoperability expertise.
- Analyze and interpret technical artifacts, including API specifications, FHIR Implementation Guides, engineering documentation, authentication workflows, application logs, JSON payloads, customer data structures, integration workflows, and system interactions to develop technical recommendations, troubleshoot interoperability challenges, and guide implementation decisions.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder technical ecosystems, driving alignment across customer, partner, and internal teams while balancing customer objectives, technical constraints, interoperability best practices, and delivery timelines.
- Translate complex customer business and technical requirements into practical implementation strategies by identifying technical risks, dependencies, integration patterns, and coordinating the appropriate internal technical stakeholders required for successful delivery.
- Exercise independent technical judgment to identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, and determine when cross-functional engagement is required.
- Develop and maintain implementation documentation, interoperability guidance, technical presentations, customer-facing implementation artifacts, and technical reference materials.
- Improve technical delivery by developing reusable implementation patterns, identifying opportunities for automation and technical tooling, creating lightweight technical utilities where appropriate, and capturing implementation learnings that improve future customer outcomes.
- Share implementation feedback and technical recommendations with Product and Engineering to improve interoperability capabilities and future customer outcomes.
You’re a great fit for this role if:
- 5+ years of experience leading customer-facing technical implementations, enterprise integrations, interoperability initiatives, or technical solution delivery.
- Demonstrated experience serving as the primary technical owner for enterprise interoperability implementations, exercising sound technical judgment, evaluating technical approaches, navigating technical tradeoffs, and driving successful customer delivery.
- Experience collaborating across customer engagements to guide technical decision-making and coordinate cross-functional technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration technologies and interoperability standards, including REST APIs, HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, US Core, FHIR Implementation Guides, HL7v2, identity and authentication protocols, enterprise integration patterns, and healthcare data exchange.
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation, API specifications, FHIR resources, authentication workflows, application logs, JSON payloads, customer data structures, and technical architecture artifacts to develop recommendations and communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to reduce technical ambiguity by synthesizing complex customer requirements, evaluating multiple implementation approaches, and guiding customers toward practical technical solutions.
- Strong systems thinking, customer communication, facilitation, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with SQL, Python, scripting, APIs, automation, or technical tooling is preferred. Demonstrated curiosity for leveraging technology to improve customer delivery through automation, reusable tooling, or AI-assisted workflows is highly valued.
- Relevant interoperability, API, cloud, identity, or integration certifications are a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
