Sobre esta vaga de Senior Supply Chain Manager for DTC Company (US-Based, Remote) na Paired
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.
We're looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager for our client who owns one of the fastest growing DTC footwear brands in the US, shipping up to 1,000 orders per day and scaling 2.5x this year. This is a hands-on Supply Chain Owner role, not an analyst position. You'll leverage the company's AI-powered command center to make operational decisions rather than build reports or spreadsheets. Your responsibilities include managing inventory replenishment, placing purchase orders, overseeing supplier relationships and quality control, coordinating with 3PL partners, negotiating with manufacturers, and proactively planning around key events such as BFCM and Chinese New Year. Success in this role means ensuring top-selling products never go out of stock while maintaining target landed costs as the business scales. The company operates with custom-built AI tools instead of a traditional ERP, allowing you to focus on strategic supply chain execution while internal tools are continuously developed to support your workflow.
Responsibilities
1. Reorder & demand decisions
- Own the final reorder decision end-to-end: quantity, color/size mix, timing, cash phasing. The forecast tooling assists, you decide.
- Plan around promotions, product launches, seasonality and ad-spend scaling (marketing doubles spend in months, your buffers must be ahead of it).
2. Factory & supplier management (China)
- Manage Chinese manufacturers directly: production schedules, pricing agreements, acceptance thresholds, quality standards, rework flows.
- Own the QC system end-to-end: per-batch pass/defect reporting, size specification compliance, third-party inspections where needed.
- Run dual sourcing: second production line qualification, sample validation, mold management.
3. 3PL & fulfillment (China direct-to-US)
- Manage our China 3PL: SLAs, daily throughput, invoice accuracy, shipping lanes and DDP performance.
- Keep order-to-delivery at 12 days or less and fulfillment rate at 98% or higher.
4. Amazon FBA replenishment
- Own FBA restock planning: inbound shipments, restock cadence, stranded/limit management (agency executes listings and PPC, you own stock).
5. Team, consumables & calendar
- Lead our supply chain support staff (currently one agent) and grow the function as we scale.
- Packaging and inserts: never a shipment blocked on consumables.
- Plan the year: BFCM buffer build, Chinese New Year production freeze, freight peak seasons, tariff/lane changes.
Requirements
- 6+ years supply chain with end ownership of forecasting AND purchasing - you decided the quantities, not a demand planner next to you.
- Fashion or apparel category experience required, footwear strongly preferred - you know sizing complexity, size curves, seasonality and returns dynamics from the inside.
- DTC eCommerce brand experience at meaningful scale (1,000+ orders/day or comparable).
- Shopify AND Amazon FBA - both required.
- Managed Chinese factories directly, including quality management. Not exclusively via sourcing agencies.
- Comfortable in a fast, hands-on, AI-driven environment: dashboards + sheets + direct supplier communication, high speed, short lines. You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) as a daily part of how you work.
- Fluent English + working overlap with China business hours.
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Work From Home
- Flexible Hours
