The Opportunity
As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will coordinate and monitor all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise
from suppliers to customers.
What You’ll Do
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of professionals to ensure supply chain projects are delivered on time.
- Activities may include: materials planning and control, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures.
- Analyzes and evaluates existing end-to-end supply chain solutions by data capturing and process auditing, including inventory control and route network design programs.
- Drives innovation and improvements in both workflow and systems.
Requirements
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of supply chain processes, demand forecast data, and conversion into procurement plans.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to operate complex computer systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage logistics and supply chain vendors to maximize productivity and efficiency through DOH and stock management.
- Highly numerate, result-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead forecasting, demand planning, logistics, and S&OP processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and driving process improvements.
