Job Details:

The Senior Customer Service & Logistics Export Specialist has primary responsibility for managing the relationship between international customers and the Supply Chain for assigned geographic regions. This process begins with order placement and continues through receipt of final payment. The Senior Customer Service & Logistics Export Specialist manages this relationship by:

• Becoming thoroughly familiar with regional regulations, documentation requirements, in-country sales organizations, customer organizations, product needs, processes, and procedures.
• Analyzing historical data and account trends.
• Partnering with the Sales team to provide the highest level of customer service to all accounts.

This information is used to design efficient, cost-effective, and reliable business solutions for both international customers and Tyson Foods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between Tyson Foods Supply Chain and assigned external customers by geographic region, with responsibility for all aspects of the customer relationship, including order receipt and prompt resolution of issues that may arise throughout the order-to-cash cycle.
• Strengthen Tyson Foods' relationships with international customers through effective communication regarding order status, product availability, substitute product options, and logistics processes.
• Facilitate and support the delivery of required documentation, inspections, and letters of credit.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with product requirements, documentation standards, and country-specific regulations.
• Utilize the SAP order management system to process customer orders and monitor compliance for all assigned accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of Tyson Foods' internal policies, procedures, and software applications.
• Maintain knowledge of customers' organizational structures, procedures, and other relevant business information.
• Utilize available resources to identify cost-effective supply chain efficiencies that best meet the needs of both Tyson Foods and its customers.
• Identify and implement creative solutions to resolve issues that negatively impact the order-to-cash cycle, customer relationships, or the accurate delivery of products to external customers.

Requirements

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of business experience required.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• SAP experience preferred.

Travel

• Domestic travel required for customer meetings, typically 2 to 3 times per year.
