About the role
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer who knows the Atlassian ecosystem and wants to help shape how enterprises protect and manage it. In this senior individual-contributor role, you will own Revyz technical engagements from discovery through the buying decision, working directly with customers, Atlassian Solution Partners, and our product and engineering teams. You will have room to design the approach, build reusable tools for the team, and turn customer insight into product improvements. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on Atlassian expertise with commercial impact and a visible role in the partner community.
What You'll Do:
Own enterprise customer outcomes
Partner with sales and channel teams to understand how customers use Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, who administers them, and what is at stake when data is lost or configurations change. Define decision criteria and qualify technical fit early.
Lead tailored demonstrations, architecture discussions, and executive presentations around real Atlassian use cases: recovering a deleted work item or page, managing configuration changes, and protecting business-critical workflows. Help customers see how your recommendations improve their day-to-day operations.
Own proofs of value with agreed scope, success criteria, timelines, and decision owners. Guide customers and partners through Marketplace app evaluations, resolve technical objections, and lead technical proposals and security questionnaires with the appropriate internal experts.
Put your Atlassian expertise to work
Develop deep expertise in Revyz and the relevant Spin.AI products while expanding your knowledge of enterprise SaaS security. Explain product capabilities, limitations, and competitive tradeoffs accurately, and distinguish supported functionality from roadmap items.
Design and validate solutions around Atlassian backup and recovery, configuration management, permissions, retention, and data residency. Help administrators understand dependencies and recovery needs across Jira projects, Jira Service Management workflows, and Confluence spaces.
Work hands-on in Jira and Confluence Cloud customer and demo environments to configure evaluations, investigate permissions and configuration issues, and validate recovery scenarios. Partner with engineering when deeper integration or technical investigation is needed.
Build your profile in the Atlassian ecosystem
Become a trusted advisor to Atlassian administrators, platform owners, enterprise architects, and security leaders. Build relationships with the people responsible for business-critical environments and help them make decisions they can defend to senior leadership.
Work alongside Atlassian Solution Partners and consultants on joint customer engagements. Lead technical workshops and demonstrations, create reusable enablement materials, and help partners bring Revyz into their consulting and managed services offerings. Your expertise will help a wider network of teams succeed.
Provide a clear handoff to customer success and support, documenting requirements, success criteria, and open issues. Stay close to strategic customers and partners as their Atlassian environments evolve, identifying opportunities to solve their next challenge.
Shape the product and the practice
Follow Atlassian Cloud developments, Marketplace apps, and partner and community feedback. Use that ecosystem perspective to inform customer conversations and competitive positioning, recommend product enhancements and new features, and improve our technical sales approach.
Work directly with product and engineering to turn customer feedback into prioritized use cases. Help shape how we demonstrate, evaluate, and explain Revyz, with the opportunity to see your ideas become product improvements and resources used across the partner network.
What you bring:
7+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, Atlassian consulting, or comparable customer-facing technical roles, including substantial experience leading complex enterprise evaluations or solution engagements through a buying decision.
Hands-on experience administering or designing solutions for Jira and Confluence Cloud, including Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, configuration dependencies, and Confluence spaces and access controls. Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Assets is a plus.
Strong knowledge of SaaS data protection and cloud security, including backup and recovery, identity and access management, encryption, retention, and data residency. Ability to discuss recovery point and recovery time objectives with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience selling, implementing, or supporting cybersecurity, data protection, or backup and recovery solutions is strongly preferred. Relevant experience includes SaaS backup, ransomware resilience, recovery testing, security evaluations, or helping customers translate risk and compliance needs into practical protection plans.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical solution designs and measurable evaluation plans, explain tradeoffs clearly, and guide administrators and business stakeholders to a decision.
Sound commercial judgment and the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities independently, prioritize effectively, and coordinate sales, product, engineering, and partner stakeholders.
Significant experience in the Atlassian ecosystem, whether at a Solution Partner, Marketplace app vendor, or an enterprise Atlassian team. Understand how customers select and evaluate Marketplace apps and how partners support implementation, adoption, and ongoing services. Partner enablement experience and Atlassian certifications are strong pluses.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
