Senior Software Engineer – Treasury Systems (Findur)
Sr. Software Engineer – Treasury

Operating in nearly 130 countries, we connect and simplify supply chains for customers across the globe through our unique combination of ocean, logistics and terminal services. Guided by our vision to become the Global Integrator of logistics, we are transforming the way global trade moves by delivering seamless, end-to-end supply chain solutions.
This is an exciting career opportunity to work in a multinational, Global 500 company that makes global trade happen. You will be interacting daily with colleagues internationally, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional skills in a global environment. The environment is dynamic with focus on high performance, results, and respect for our employees. There will be the possibility of continuous professional and personal development and for gaining a professional and social network.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help digitise and automate both functional and non-functional processes in our treasury system, Findur — delivered in close partnership with our highly experienced internal DevOps team. You will work with development teams and stakeholders in various locations, e.g., Pune, Bangalore, UK and Copenhagen.
You'll be involved early in feature discussions to help shape the best technical outcome and support the business case behind each change, and you'll be closely engaged in our agile processes — driving continuous improvement in code quality, review practices, and ceremonies.
While Findur/OpenLink expertise is the foundation of this role, we're equally interested in engineers with broad technical curiosity — people who understand, or are willing to learn, adjacent areas such as AI/ML and system integrations. We value adaptability and curiosity as much as a fixed skill set.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the DevOps team, you will:
- Own your code across the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and business analysis, through design, development and testing, to release — writing, delivering, and presenting code in walkthroughs against functional specifications.
- Write clean, scalable, high-quality code that follows engineering best practices and aligns with our internal standards and processes.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a best-in-class experience for our users.
- Actively drive scope and user story definition, technical viability assessment, and best practice to meet requirements.
- Proactively flag risks and issues affecting system performance and availability.
- Share knowledge actively within the team, contributing to our shared knowledge base.
- Collaborate with vendors and DevOps team members on root cause analysis of incidents and reported issues.
- Work with a high degree of independence, while knowing when to seek a second opinion.
- Understand and champion the DevOps process, stay focused on team goals, and give feedback openly in a safe environment.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 7+ years of experience as a software developer on OpenLink Findur, or alternatively Endur.
- Solid domain knowledge of treasury operations: financial instruments, confirmations, settlements, cash management, and payment flows, including SWIFT and ISO 20022 concepts.
- Experience working in large, global teams with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in treasury business language, with the ability to translate business requirements from conversations with end users into Findur/Java code or system configuration.
- Solid understanding of Findur data modelling and system design.
- Strong ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code that's easy for others to read and maintain.
- Broad technical curiosity — genuine interest in technology beyond Findur, including automation and integrations.
- Solid SQL foundation and familiarity with SQL Server.
- Genuine interest and willingness to learn AI/ML tooling; hands-on experience building with it is a plus.
Advantageous
- Experience with Agile practices and tools (Git, Jira, etc.).
- Knowledge of vendor-hosted system setups and integrations.
- Diverse experience across different technologies and platforms, beyond Findur.
Ways of Working
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to maintaining a safe space for the team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset and the ability to work across teams.
- Collaborative, with strong mentoring, people skills, and personal impact.
- Highly motivated and able to perform well under pressure.
- Innovative, with the ability to think outside the box.
- Fact-based and results-oriented.
As a Person
- A self-starter, highly motivated and proactive.
- Curious, with a drive to keep learning and stay current with emerging technology and business trends.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable pivoting into different roles as needs evolve.
- Culturally aware, with experience working in multi-cultural teams.
- Willing to share knowledge, document work, and contribute as a true team player.
- Service-minded, with a strong focus on business needs.
