What you will do
You will join the implementation team as a hands-on Salesforce Technical Architect. This role bridges business needs and technical execution: you'll design secure, scalable enterprise architecture and oversee custom development, while remaining hands-on yourself, spending at least 50% of your time actually building. You'll define and maintain the technical architecture standards for our Salesforce platform and connected systems (e.g. Data Warehouse). You'll also advocate the use of AI-assisted development tools across the team and help shape how AI fits into our broader integration architecture. Key projects span new product line implementations with self-service flow capabilities, improvements to the end-to-end quote-to-cash flow, debt collection optimization, and reducing friction in the customer invoice payment process.
Where you will have impact
- Technical design & integration: Act as the design authority that owns and signs off on all technical designs across the team before the development starts. Map how Salesforce connects with external enterprise systems (e.g. ERPs, marketing automation) using APIs and secure messaging.
- Architecture standards & documentation: Implement and maintain standard technical architecture, coding standards and reference patterns for Apex, LWC and Flow and be able to enforce them through code reviews for Salesforce. Extend that standard to the integration with our other platforms including our data warehouse, and author High-Level and Low-Level Design documents, including cost and impact analysis, for major projects.
- Build vs. buy decisions: Evaluate whether to buy and integrate an existing app (e.g. from the Salesforce AppExchange or another vendor) or build a custom solution in-house, weighing cost, maintainability, time-to-value and long-term fit with our architecture.
- Performance & reliability: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance across Salesforce and connected systems.
- Hands-on development: Personally design, build and maintain solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components, at least 50% of your time.
- AI adoption: Actively use and experiment with AI coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality and evaluate how AI capabilities fit into our integration architecture and broader technical roadmap.
- Development Coaching: Mentor and perform code reviews for Salesforce developers.
- Release management: Oversee deployment strategies, environment management and DevOps CI/CD processes.
- Collaboration: Translate business requirements (prepared by a dedicated BA team) into well-designed technical solutions and work with other architects to keep systems maintainable, scalable and aligned with enterprise-wide standards.
About our team
You'll be part of our Salesforce implementation team, working in close collaboration with the business analysis team. While they focus on gathering requirements, we own the technical execution, from analysis and design through to hands-on implementation. We are an energetic, collaborative group that takes on new initiatives every quarter, focused on delivering high-quality implementations on time, growing our internal capabilities and bringing more expertise in-house.
What's in it for you?
- Flexible working environment: Work from home or at one of our global offices.
- Flexible time off: Autonomy to manage your work-life balance.
- Collaborative team: High-bar, friendly, creative, and passionate colleagues.
- Career development: Workshops, frameworks, tools, training, and processes to realize your full potential.
- Impactful work: Shape products relied on by 85,000+ users worldwide.
- Mobility options: Mobility budget or company car (based on your job category).
- Competitive compensation: Proactively maintained to value your work.
- Net allowance: to support home office related expenses.
- Vouchers: lunch vouchers & eco vouchers.
- Comprehensive health insurance: Extensive coverage for you and your dependents.
- Pension funding: Group insurance to secure your future.
- Referral bonuses: Earn rewards for bringing in new talent.
Who you are
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 5 years hands-on with Salesforce (Apex, LWC, SOQL). Comfortable in other languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, is a real plus, we care more about strong engineering fundamentals than a Salesforce-only résumé.
- A track record of architecting complex, secure enterprise systems, translating business needs into scalable technical designs, and backing that up with solid documentation (HLDs, LLDs, cost and impact analysis).
- Deep knowledge of system integration patterns and API design, paired with strong data architecture skills: data modeling, migration planning, and data quality management.
- Genuinely energized by staying hands-on, you'd rather spend half your week actually building than only reviewing other people's work, while still owning the technical architecture and buy-vs-build calls.
- A natural mentor who raises the bar for a development team through code review, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Curious about AI as both a coding accelerant and a factor reshaping (integration) architecture, and eager to bring that thinking to the rest of the team.
- Executive-level communicator, able to translate technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders and make a clear, strategic case for decisions.
- Fluent English.
We welcome
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Integration/System Architect credentials.
- Experience defining architecture standards that span beyond Salesforce, e.g. data warehouse or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing.
