Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager

What we are looking for

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager within our Global Regulatory team. This position falls under our Cross Border line of business. and can be located in London, UK.

You will support and strengthen our regulatory framework in the UK. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with FCA regulatory requirements, particularly as they apply to cross-border payments, foreign exchange (spot, forwards, options), client money handling, licensing obligations, and financial services conduct. You will bring regulatory expertise, strong interpretive capability, and experience translating regulatory obligations into operational controls within a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will report directly to the Deputy Head of Compliance and will regularly collaborate with the wider regulatory and compliance, credit, legal and front office teams.

Role Responsibilities

Your responsibilities of the role will include:

Regulatory Advisory & Interpretation

• Acting as the subject matter expert on EMRs, PSRs and MiFID requirements.
• Providing technical regulatory advice to business, product, operations, and risk teams.
• Interpret new and evolving regulatory requirements and assess impact to the business.
• Drafting regulatory gap analyses and implementation plans.

Regulatory Framework & Governance

• Maintaining and enhancing regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Developing and updating policies and procedures aligned with regulatory obligations.

Product & Change Advisory

• Reviewing new product proposals.
• Providing input on licensing perimeter issues.
• Assess conduct, disclosure, and client classification implications.
• Support regulatory impact assessments for system and process changes.

Regulatory Engagement

• Supporting interactions with FCA including regulatory queries, thematic reviews, and onsite inspections.
• Assist in preparing regulatory submissions and breach notifications (where applicable).
• Monitor enforcement trends and industry developments.

Monitoring & Assurance

• Enhancing compliance monitoring programs.
• Supporting second-line reviews and thematic testing.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend remediation actions.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience within:
  • Cross-border payments
  • FX / derivatives
  • Fintech or non-bank financial institutions
  • Banks with international payments exposure
• Working knowledge of:
  • Electronic Money Regulations 2011
  • MiFID II
  • FCA handbook:
    • CASS
    • COBs
• Demonstrated experience translating regulatory obligations into operational frameworks.
• Experience engaging with regulators or responding to regulatory reviews.
• Strong policy drafting and regulatory writing skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a senior advisory capacity.

Desirable:

• Technical FX Derivatives knowledge/ ability to analyse a portfolio
• Experience across both MiFID & payments.
• Legal, risk, or audit background.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CISI).
