Accountabilities:
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for all packaging categories (e.g., Rigid box, corrugate box, pulp tray, labels, tertiary packaging).
- Conduct market analysis, identify potential suppliers, and lead RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, value engineering, and alternative material sourcing.
Supplier Management
- Qualify, onboard, and manage relationships with key packaging suppliers globally/regionally.
- Negotiate and manage contracts (PPA,NDA etc.) ensuring favorable terms (price, quality, delivery, payment, sustainability).
- Implement supplier performance metrics (QCD - Quality, Cost, Delivery) and conduct regular business reviews.
- Proactively manage supplier risks (financial, geopolitical, capacity, quality).
Cost Management
- Analyze packaging costs, track market trends (paper, freight), and develop cost models.
- Achieve annual cost savings targets through negotiation, demand management, and process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with R&D, Product Development, and Quality Assurance on new product launches (NPI), ensuring packaging specifications are met cost-effectively and on time.
- Work with Engineering and Operations on packaging optimization, standardization, and sustainability projects.
- Collaborate with Planning and Logistics to ensure material availability and manage inventory levels.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all packaging materials meet company quality standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., ESG, EU regulations ), and sustainability commitments.
- Manage resolution of packaging-related quality issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Sustainability
- Drive the implementation of sustainable packaging initiatives aligned with company goals (e.g., recycled content, recyclability, light weighting).
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on environmental credentials and certifications.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor global packaging market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and emerging technologies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Hiring Requirements:
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, specifically within packaging materials sourcing.
- Proven track record in developing and executing sourcing strategies and achieving significant cost savings.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chains.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives in packaging.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., e-sourcing platforms) and SRM systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Can working traveling to difference Suppliers in Thailand/Vietnam/China/Cambodia/Indonesia in short time
