Job Description
Are you ready to lead a complex High Bay Warehouse stream and turn technology, building and operational interfaces into one safe, compliant and fully functioning solution?
Take end-to-end accountability for the High Bay Warehouse stream in the NYI5 expansion, leading multidisciplinary teams and external partners from requirements and design through commissioning, handover and stable operation.
Reporting to the Program Lead, this role provides functional and project leadership without direct line-management responsibility.
Core Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end accountability for the High Bay Warehouse stream, from business and technical requirements through design, sourcing and execution to commissioning, handover, ramp-up and stable operation.
- Integrate warehouse technology with the building and infrastructure scope, including structures, MEP/utilities, fire safety, material handling, automation/controls, IT/OT, EHS, maintenance and operational interfaces.
- Define and maintain scope boundaries, requirements, layouts, loads, access and installation conditions, interfaces, dependencies, milestones and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Own and continuously control the stream business case, budget, schedule, resources, risks, opportunities, changes and decision log; develop and drive recovery plans where required.
- Align Technical Leads, designers, contractors, technology suppliers, Operations/Logistics and related project streams, closing cross-stream interfaces and decisions early.
- Lead design reviews and ensure constructability, maintainability, operability, safety, quality and value-engineering requirements are properly addressed.
- Support sourcing and tendering, clarify supplier scopes and interfaces, and manage supplier performance, changes, claims and recovery actions with the relevant functions.
- Own installation readiness, integrated testing, commissioning, acceptance, training, documentation, maintenance readiness, handover and controlled production ramp-up.

In the NYI5 expansion, the High Bay Warehouse Stream Owner leads a multidisciplinary internal team and external delivery partners to turn business capacity and logistics needs into one safe, compliant and fully functioning solution.
- The role connects Construction, Engineering, EHS, Procurement, Commercial/Finance, IT, Security, Quality, Operations and suppliers, providing transparent status, early warning and decision recommendations to programme governance.
Do you have what it takes?
- A relevant university degree in engineering, automation, logistics, construction or project management is preferred.
- Equivalent substantial experience in complex automated warehouse or industrial project delivery will also be considered.
- Significant end-to-end leadership experience in complex industrial, manufacturing, logistics or automated-warehouse capital projects.
- Strong understanding of High Bay Warehouse systems and their building, MHE, automation/controls, IT/OT, fire-safety and operational interfaces.
- Strong project management capability across scope, cost, schedule, risk, change, quality, resources and suppliers.
- Independent decision-making, competing-priority management and early escalation with clear impacts and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder leadership across multidisciplinary, senior, culturally diverse and external partner groups.
- An ownership mindset, high-quality standards and the ability to drive issues and interfaces to closure. Experience with Stage Gate or another end-to-end project delivery and governance model.
- English: Intermediate - Level 10-12 (B2), spoken and written.
- Hungarian is required for local stakeholder and site coordination.
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with AS/RS, cranes/shuttles, conveyors, WCS/WMS, FAT/SAT and integrated commissioning.
- Brownfield/greenfield factory expansion and Design & Build experience.
- Commercial awareness in tendering, contracts, change, claims and supplier recovery.
- International matrix experience and willingness to travel as required.
