Sobre esta vaga de Senior Project Manager na Akaysha Energy
Today's most tomorrow company.
We built the world's most powerful battery, the 850MW Waratah Super Battery, and now we want a Senior Project Manager to help us build even more BESS Assets.
We're leading the energy transition towards a better, brighter tomorrow. The work you will do makes a real and very tangible impact on the future of the planet and its people. We're 200 people around the world with 40 GWh of projects moving through development across Australia, Japan, the US and Germany.
Akaysha build, own, and operate our assets. We don't hand a project to someone else once it's approved. The people who design a battery site are the same people who help build it, optimise it and solve the challenges that come with operating it every day.
In this hybrid role, reporting to the General Manager, Delivery, you’ll be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Akaysha Energy’s utility-scale battery energy storage projects. You will provide leadership across complex contractual, technical, and stakeholder interfaces.
What you'll do
- Take the lead on utility-scale BESS projects from development through construction, commissioning and handover
- Bring teams, contractors and partners together to keep projects moving safely and successfully
- Own budgets, schedule, risk and delivery performance
- Work closely with EPC contractors, OEMs, network providers and stakeholders to navigate challenges and unlock solutions
- Lead and support your project team, creating clarity, momentum and shared accountability
How you'll make a positive impact
- Bring proven experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
- Use your BESS, grid and EPC knowledge to make confident, practical decisions
- Spot risks early and find solutions that balance technical, commercial and delivery outcomes
- Build strong relationships across technical, commercial, regulatory and community stakeholders
- Bring calm, collaborative leadership to complex projects and help your team achieve their goals
Why you’ll love working here
- Flexibility first: we're hybrid by design, averaging 60/40 office and home split, and real trust to flex that mix when life calls for it.
- Room to look after yourself: $1,500 a year for your wellbeing, plus $2,000 and two extra days off for your own development.
- Genuinely generous parental leave: because family isn’t something you fit around a job
- A stake in what we build: on top of your salary and twice-yearly bonus, permanent team members also share in the value we create through our Long Term Incentive Plan.
