Lead site resource modelling and drill management and assist in mentoring a high performing Mine Geology team, delivering grade control models in a timely manner to support mining operations. Working closely with mining and Perth-based Resource Teams, you will provide critical geological guidance to help achieve production targets, manage the model schedule, and assist with the site’s long-term business objectives.

About the role:

• Lead grade control modelling, estimation and resource reporting activities.
• Maintain and improve resource and grade control models to company standards.
• Provide geological input into short and long-term mine planning activities.
• Oversee drilling data validation, QAQC and resource database integrity.
• Coordinate annual Mineral Resource updates and reporting schedules.
• Mentor and support geologists and technical staff across the geology function.
• Deliver technical advice to optimise ore recovery and minimise dilution.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with site standards and procedures.

About you:

• Tertiary degree in Geology or similar.
• Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
• C Class Manual driver’s license.
• Membership of AIG or AusIMM.
• C Class drivers manual license
• System experience: Surpac, Leapfrog, MS Office software experience, SuperVisor exposure.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the mining cycle from exploration through to mining, and geological reconciliation from processing
• Demonstrated technical excellence and best practice methods in grade control, geological modelling and estimation.
