About the Role:

• Review of PFD & share observations with the Design team of Client and / or Design consultant. Hand-on experience in various types of industrial process plants

• Review of P&ID and share observations with the Design team of Client and / or Design consultant.

• Verify the MOC selection of Equipment, Pipes, Valves, Tanks, Instruments. Ensure all materials used on project meet the required standards and are stored and handled correctly

• Monitor on construction work on daily basis to ensure that it is carries out according to approved plans, specifications. Highlight if any deviation observed.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify any quality or safety issues and take corrective actions whenever necessary.

• Co-operate with project stake holders, including the clients, consultants & sub-contractors, to ensure that all parties are informed of Process department perspective and resolving any issues that arise.

• Hand on experience of safe handling of industrial grade chemicals in chemical process plant.

• Awareness of different type of chemical reactions, MSDS, NFPA 704 Hazard Diamond.

• Awareness of different type of equipment operation : Evaporator, Condenser, Process / Distillation Column, RVPD / RCVD, ANF, Lined Reactors / Vessels, Agitator, Graphite Exchangers, Vacuum Pumps, AODD Pumps, UG tanks, Centrifugal pumps.

• Need to guide the working agencies on precaution to be taken on Process department point of view, on available work front.

• Marking of Loops in P&ID for preparing Loop files / Test Pack.

• Checking, verification of Loops according to Loop file P&IDs and other process related punch points.

• Co-ordinate with contractor representative and site execution engineer in charge for proper installation of Mechanical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic valves, inline instruments, heat tracing (if required).

• Verification of Process interlocks inline with P&ID and Design team requirement.

• Maintaining records of daily performed Cardboard blasting, Mechanical clearance, Hydrostatic / Pneumatic testing, Box-up and Loop file handover.

• Responsible for sequences regarding pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.

• Monitor policies and procedures and report any areas where improvement is required.

• Awareness of handling of different utilities connected to process equipment : Chilled Brine, Chilled Water, Cooling Water, Hot Water, LP Steam, MP Steam, HP Steam, HTM.

• Monitoring on insulation activities, accuracy of work front release after hydrostatic test of piping / equipment.

• Maintain good professional relation with Client and eager to resolve major issues related to Site concerns.

About You:

• B.E degree with 6 to 8 years of experience particularly in industrial projects.
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
