About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team at BP International Limited. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that optimize revenue and market share, while also enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across various product categories, aligning with commercial objectives and market dynamics.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer segmentation data to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
- Utilize market research effectively to inform pricing decisions and validate proposition development.
- Develop and implement customer journey mapping to understand customer behavior and identify pain points related to pricing.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to design and execute compelling offers and promotions, driving growth and customer engagement.
- Ensure offers are executed efficiently and effectively, delivering an effortless customer experience.
- Apply agility core practices to continuously iterate and optimize pricing models and strategies.
- Contribute to brand management by ensuring pricing strategies align with brand value and positioning.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen in all aspects of pricing analysis and strategy development.
- Utilize creativity and innovation to develop novel pricing solutions and models.
- Communicate complex pricing concepts and recommendations clearly and concisely to diverse interested parties.
Essential education, experience and requirements
- Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Retail Category Management and customer segmentation.
- Proficiency in customer centric thinking and customer service design principles.
- Experience with offer execution and growth initiatives.
- Ability to effectively use market research and apply findings to strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
- Experience with agility core practices is highly desirable.
How much do we pay (Base)? 105,000 to 150,000 annually
- Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees . You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
