Job Summary
The Mortgage Specialist at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for clients across Malaysia. This role involves building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and adhering to all regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage loan opportunities through various channels, including referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
* Conduct thorough financial needs assessments for prospective clients to recommend suitable mortgage products and solutions.
* Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, from initial inquiry to loan disbursement, ensuring all required documentation is collected accurately and promptly.
* Prepare and present loan proposals, outlining terms, conditions, and repayment schedules to clients.
* Collaborate closely with internal departments, such as credit assessment, legal, and operations, to facilitate efficient loan processing and approvals.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of UOB's mortgage products, services, policies, and relevant market trends and regulations.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets for mortgage loan origination and related financial products.
* Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, banking regulations, and industry best practices.
* Participate in marketing and promotional activities to enhance UOB's presence in the mortgage market.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of mortgage products, credit assessment principles, and the Malaysian property market.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Results-oriented with a strong sales drive and a proactive approach to business development.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel extensively nationwide to meet clients and support business development.
