A Day in the Life

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.

As a Senior Materials Management Analyst, you will be part of the Service Delivery team responsible for the day-to-day delivery of materials management services within the hospital environment, ensuring high standards of operational performance and inventory accuracy. In this role, you will maintain and further develop relationships with existing customers and serve as the primary on-site Medtronic representative for operational matters. Working closely with your manager, you will act as a key link between customers, IHS Commercial Business Development teams, and IHS Capability Centers, supporting service excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth opportunities. This role is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands and is an onsite position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage on-site ordering, receiving, storage, replenishment, inventory control, and product consumption activities to ensure product availability and operational continuity
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the interaction between the IHS platform and hospital systems to ensure accurate and efficient inventory transactions
• Monitor inventory levels, product utilization, stock accuracy, and products approaching their Use By Date (UBD), identifying opportunities to reduce waste and optimize inventory performance.
• Coordinate product return processes and support activities related to product introductions product transitions, inventory rationalization initiatives, cycle counts, inventory audits, and compliance activities
• Produce, analyze, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly operational, inventory, and service performance reports while developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and reporting tools
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospital stakeholders, suppliers, and internal Medtronic teams to support effective service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Act as a key operational contact for customer-facing inventory and materials management activities, providing insights and recommendations based on operational performance data, and identifying operational risks, service gaps, and process improvement opportunities while supporting corrective actions, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Healthcare Management, or equivalent practical experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, materials management, supply chain operations, healthcare logistics, or a similar operational environment

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated experience analyzing operational data, developing KPIs, and producing performance reports to support operational decision-making

• Experience working in customer-facing environments with responsibility for stakeholder engagement and service delivery

• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and creating value for customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with inventory management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP, or healthcare-related systems
• Experience supporting process improvement, operational excellence, or change management initiatives
• Experience developing and maintaining KPI dashboards, performance reports, and operational metrics

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
