About the Role
As an Employee Relations Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to Business and HR Leaders, HRBPs, and Legal — championing a fair, unbiased, and human-centered approach to resolving workplace concerns. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping a great employee experience by ensuring every complaint, conflict, or legal charge is handled with neutrality, thoroughness, and care. From facilitating the open-door process to conducting sensitive investigations, this is your opportunity to be the person employees and leaders alike can count on when it matters most.
You'll report to the Sr. HRBP Director.
What You'll Do
- Own the investigation process end-to-end. Serve as the primary ER investigator, taking full ownership of assigned cases — from intake through resolution — and ensuring timely, well-documented outcomes.
- Handle cases of varying complexity and sensitivity. Conduct thorough investigations across a wide range of employee concerns, including human rights, workplace rights, conduct, safety, and attendance — and make sound, well-reasoned recommendations for resolution.
- Keep meticulous records. Maintain detailed and accurate investigation logs, memorializing notes and supporting documentation in a timely and consistent manner.
- Facilitate the open-door process. Be the accessible, approachable point of contact employees turn to — and investigate formal complaints or legal charges with rigor and impartiality.
- Partner to build stronger ER capabilities. Collaborate with Legal and HRBPs to design and implement ER processes, programs, and tools that strengthen organizational capability and prevent issues before they escalate.
- Drive resolution through mediation. Participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution efforts when needed, helping parties find common ground and reach fair outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university — or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years in the HRBP domain, with at least 3+ years of direct experience in employee relations and/or labor relations.
- Conflict management: Proven ability to navigate sensitive conversations, de-escalate tension, and guide parties toward resolution.
- Employment law knowledge: Familiarity with the employment laws of Pakistan and India is a strong plus.
- Communication: A clear, empathetic, and credible communicator who can build trust across all levels of the organization.
