Are you an electronic engineer who wants to see your designs turn into real products in the hands of users around the world? Join our Intercom Solutions Team in Lund, where you will play a central role in developing the hardware behind our intercom products — from first schematic to volume production.

Who is your future team?

The Intercom HW team consists of 11 highly skilled electronics and mechanical engineers. We are part of the Intercom Solutions department, where hardware and software teams work closely together to develop competitive intercom products and solutions.

Our way of working is highly collaborative. We solve challenges across disciplines by working closely with colleagues in software, industrialization, quality, and product development. In this role, you will be a key part of a team that values technical excellence, continuous development, and a shared passion for our work.

You will also collaborate with colleagues at 2N, part of the Axis group. Together, we leverage our complementary experience in intercom and access control to share knowledge, identify new opportunities, and strengthen the solutions we deliver to our customers and partners.

What you’ll do here as Senior Electronics Engineer?

In this role, you will:

• Take part in our roadmap planning work, driving future technology choices
• Participate and lead early pre-study and feasibility work followed by prototyping and debugging
• Design new intercom products, including schematics, component selection, and BOM management, with a focus on quality, manufacturability, cost, and performance
• Provide technical leadership by leading design reviews, coordinate technical activities, and maintain high-quality engineering documentation while supporting the team's progress and successful delivery of project objectives.
• Plan and carry out testing and verification to ensure designs meet both functional and regulatory requirements
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with software, mechanics, and test teams to deliver well-integrated product solutions while driving project execution ensuring achievements of milestones in time

You are proactive, results-oriented, and motivated by seeing your designs come to life in real products.

What we need you to bring:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in developing hardware products from concept and schematic design through verification, production, and product maintenance
• Strong ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence technical decisions while communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-driven and proactive, with a proven track record of taking ownership, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering high-quality results.
• Fluency in English, which is our working language
• Basic proficiency in Swedish
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Bonus points if you also have:

• Previous Experience from working with Camera sensors, Display technologies and NFC or other types of Reader technologies
• Familiarity with regulatory certification processes, such as EMC, RED, and Safety directives
• Working knowledge of Xpedition (schematic/layout tool) and/or Windchill (PLM)
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and guiding a product through manufacturing at an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider
• Comfort with the full product lifecycle — from development concept to volume production and market support
