MT540 TETRA HARDWARE
Job Description
- Responsible for technical hardware analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, and issue resolution for communication products across commercial, government, and industrial markets.
- Conduct hands-on hardware debugging, signal testing, and failure analysis on complex electronic assemblies, including RF sub-circuits (receivers, transmitters, filters), digital controllers, and power/audio circuits.
- Drive and manage task coordination across cross-functional engineering teams, facilitating issue tracking, action-item ownership, and project alignment.
- Evaluate hardware performance and perform technical assessments using modeling or simulation tools (e.g., ADS, PSPICE, SI tools) to support root-cause investigations.
- Work closely with senior design engineers to execute design modifications, design optimization, and component end-of-life (EOL) replacements.

Basic Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware testing, failure analysis, technical support, sustainment engineering, or quality/NPI engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Communication Engineering (or related field).
Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting:
- Demonstrated strength in hardware analysis, schematic reading, circuit tracing, and root-cause problem-solving.
- Practical expertise operating lab measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
Task Coordination & Execution:
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills with a proven track record or strong affinity for coordinating tasks, managing deliverables, and leading technical action items across groups.
Domain Knowledge & Potential:
- Strong foundational knowledge in RF, digital, power, or audio circuit concepts.
- Aptitude and enthusiasm to learn circuit design, schematic editing, and layout adjustments for future career development.
- Experience or exposure to simulation tools (ADS, PSPICE, SI tools) is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
