You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and start-ups in current and new business. You will also manage the assessment and valuation of new business opportunities and lead a team of managers.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Lead all aspects of transaction execution including project management, due diligence and valuation, negotiation, documentation. You will work closely with business teams, internal functional experts (e.g. legal, accounting, tax, etc.), and outside advisors to support execution.
• Shape M&A strategy and opportunity identification. You will collaborate across the company to help assess and prioritize M&A transactions that best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives. In addition, you will draw conclusions from various sources to make recommendations that contribute to the success of our inorganic growth initiatives.
• Support post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are executing on their respective M&A integration plans.
• Create, deliver and present high-quality presentation materials and recommendations to senior leaders and decision makers.
• Build a high-performing Corporate Development team. You will also recruit and develop talent, drive our talent agenda and develop and guide a team of managers.

What you will bring

• TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Significant experience in an investment bank, private equity, venture capital or corporate development group. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive timelines. The ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks.
• BUSINESS ACUMEN: Consumer industry experience preferred.
• LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Effective in leading, influencing, motivating and achieving goals through formal and informal channels. Flexibility to manage projects across time zones and adapt certain approaches to different cultures and working styles. Comfortable performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing internal and external resources.
• GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET: Willingness to challenge assumptions and the status quo to help establish best practices and leading M&A capabilities as a team.
• INTEGRITY: Integrity and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies and external regulations

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $174,100 to $287,265; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
