The Opportunity:

Reporting to the DevSecOps Manager, this role provides technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other Engineers while collaborating closely with teams across TSP to enhance the standardization, stability, and predictability of our release cycles. The Senior DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by bridging Development, Security, and Technology Operations, ensuring seamless flow throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

This position is responsible for evaluating and introducing new technologies within the DevSecOps domain, coaching team members on BAU activities - including CI/CD pipeline maintenance and Azure DevOps administration - and supporting alignment and enablement across our partners.

Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills are essential, as the role frequently contributes to the creation and delivery of presentations for internal reviews, training sessions, and executive briefings. The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content is critical to driving alignment and understanding across diverse audiences.

As oneaviso:

  • We Care – You do the right thing for clients, partners and colleagues. You build trusted relationships, champion service excellence, and contribute to a culture where people feel valued and supported
  • We Dare –You challenge the status quo with bold ideas and fresh perspectives. You embrace change, seek opportunities to innovate and are comfortable exploring new ways of working
  • We Share – You collaborate openly and build meaningful relationships. You seek out diverse perspectives, share your knowledge and work together to help colleagues, clients and partners succeed
  • We Deliver – You take ownership of your work, honour your commitments and focus on delivering meaningful results. You hold yourself accountable and continuously look for ways to improve

What your day looks like:

  • Lead the design, documentation, and evolution of CI/CD pipelines and configuration management practices across environments, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to Engineers on the team, helping build capability in DevSecOps tools, best practices, and operational excellence
  • Architect and implement improvements to CI/CD workflows, drive higher automation, faster delivery cycles, and enhance security posture
  • Act as a strategic bridge between Development, Security, and Technology Operations, promoting DevSecOps principles and influencing teams to adopt standardized tooling and practices
  • Own research and evaluation of emerging DevSecOps technologies, conducting proofs of concept and leading the adoption of new tools and methodologies that strengthen automation, observability, and security
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce friction, improve predictability, and enhance developer experience across the software delivery lifecycle
  • Drive cross-functional technical planning and roadmap alignment, working closely with partner teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient delivery practices
  • Create and deliver clear, engaging technical communications, including documentation, internal training, and presentations for stakeholder updates or technology enablement

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure operations, or software engineering, with a proven track record of leading initiatives in collaborative, cross‑functional environments
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts), including designing scalable CI/CD architectures, enforcing governance standards, and driving infrastructure-as-code practices using Bicep or equivalent technologies
  • Deep proficiency with modern DevSecOps tooling, including Git, Docker, Bicep, PowerShell/Bash, and cloud-native monitoring/observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics
  • Relevant senior-level certifications strongly preferred, such as Microsoft Certified: DevSecOps Engineer Professional/Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud/DevSecOps credentials
  • Strong programming and automation skills, in well-known languages / frameworks such as Powershell / Bash / Python / REST / Bicep, workflow automation, and cloud resource orchestration within CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Java or .NET is an asset
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, security, and application delivery issues independently while guiding others through best practices
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers, influence technical stakeholders, and effectively communicate DevSecOps concepts across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
  • Experience in security-sensitive or regulated industries (e.g., Financial Services) is an asset, including familiarity with compliance-driven delivery models, security controls, and risk management practices
