Job Description Microsoft App and AI Solutions Developer 

Overview 

TTEC Digital is seeking a Microsoft App and AI Solutions Developer to build and support business applications, workflow automation, integrations, and AI-enabled experiences across Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Copilot technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, along with the discipline to deliver secure, maintainable, production-ready solutions. Working within an Agile delivery team, the developer will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, administrators, and product owners to turn business needs into solutions that improve efficiency, user experience, and enterprise adoption. 

Responsibilities 

1. App Development and Solution Design 

• Design, develop, test, and support Microsoft-based applications using Azure and Power Platform. 

• Translate business requirements, user stories, and process flows into practical, scalable application designs that favor configuration and low-code patterns where appropriate. 

• Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces, reusable components, consistent design patterns, and accessibility-aware layouts. 

• Connect applications to Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL, Teams, or other approved enterprise data sources. 

• Independently analyze business needs, identify technical options, and recommend sustainable solutions that balance user experience, maintainability, security, and delivery speed. 

2. AI Agents and AI-Enabled Solutions 

• Design, build, test, and maintain custom agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio or Azure AI Foundry, including topics, actions, orchestration, fallback logic, escalation paths, and generative AI capabilities. 

• Extend agents with enterprise data sources, Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate flows, custom connectors, and approved APIs. 

• Develop agent experiences that can be deployed through Microsoft Teams and other approved Microsoft 365 channels. 

• Use analytics, telemetry, conversation outcomes, and user feedback to monitor agent performance and continuously improve answer quality, containment, escalation, and business impact. 

• Apply responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance considerations when designing AI-assisted applications and conversational experiences. 

3. Power Automate, Integrations, and Data 

• Build and optimize Power Automate cloud flows or Logic Apps to streamline approvals, notifications, data movement, and business process automation. 

• Design and maintain data tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and data models that support apps and AI solutions. 

• Develop and support integrations using custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or other approved integration patterns. 

• Troubleshoot production issues related to apps, flows, connectors, authentication, data quality, performance, and environment-specific configuration. 

• Create and maintain technical documentation covering application architecture, integrations, data models, workflows, agent configuration, deployment steps, and support procedures. 

4. Secure Delivery and Lifecycle Management 

• Follow enterprise standards for environments, data protection, access, compliance, and operational support. 

• Package, deploy, and promote solutions using approved ALM practices, including managed solutions, environment variables, connection references, pipelines, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tooling. 

• Maintain release documentation, versioning, deployment validation, and traceability across development, test, and production environments. 

• Partner with administrators and architects to align solutions with identity, monitoring, supportability, and platform standards. 

• Contribute reusable components and patterns that improve consistency across the Microsoft app and AI portfolio. 

5. Agile Delivery and Stakeholder Enablement 

• Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, technical design discussions, and release readiness activities. 

• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, administrators, and end users to validate requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. 

• Lead or support unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and production hyper care. 

• Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and enablement to peers, support teams, and citizen developers where appropriate. 

• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. 

• 4+ years of experience developing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and/or Azure, including hands-on app and data flow delivery. 

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI, conversational AI, or enterprise AI solution delivery. 

• Strong proficiency developing business applications, including Canvas apps, with working knowledge of model-driven apps and Dataverse-backed design. 

• Experience building automation workflows for approvals, integrations, notifications, and business process automation. 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Teams, SQL, connectors, custom connectors, and API-based integration patterns. 

• Experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform and Azure solutions using governed enterprise practices, including environment strategy, security roles, data protection, managed deployments, release validation, and production support. 

• Ability to troubleshoot app, flow, agent, connector, and data issues across development, test, and production environments. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience with deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Power Platform pipelines, or ALM Accelerator. 

• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Service Bus, or enterprise middleware. 

• Familiarity with AI Builder, prompt design, agent evaluation, analytics, and responsible AI practices. 

• Experience building solutions for Microsoft Teams, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, or other enterprise business platforms. 

• Working knowledge of Power BI or reporting patterns used to monitor application adoption, flow performance, agent usage, and operational outcomes. 

• Experience working in a Microsoft partner, consulting, professional services, CX, contact center, or enterprise IT environment.
