About the Role:
Aleph is launching its dedicated Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) platform across 21 European markets. CSS unlocks a high-growth revenue stream by giving e-commerce merchants direct access to Google Shopping Ads auctions with a 20% bidding power advantage. We are looking for a Senior Client Partner (Commercial Lead) to drive merchant acquisition, design commercial structures, and close contracts across our European footprint, working from Prague.
As the commercial engine behind the project, you will turn our 12% on-top fee model into compelling merchant deals, build turnkey sales collateral, and train local country teams to position CSS alongside our existing portfolio (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Google).
What You Will Do
1. Deal Structuring & Commercial Strategy
Commercial model execution: Structure and negotiate merchant agreements using Aleph’s standard CSS commercial framework.
Tailored deal packages: Design custom commercial incentive structures (for example volume-based tiers, cross-platform spend commitments, and bundled trial periods) for tier-1 enterprise merchants and large digital agencies.
Value proposition positioning: Clearly explain the CSS financial advantage, showing how merchants achieve 8% bottom-line spend savings or +20% auction bidding power compared with Google’s default 20% margin.
2. Merchant Acquisition & Pipeline Growth
Portfolio monetization: Identify, prioritize, and pitch top-tier e-commerce accounts in Aleph’s current regional client base that spend on Google Shopping Ads outside of Aleph.
Agency and reseller partnerships: Build strategic relationships with performance marketing agencies, feed management partners, and media buyers across the 21 European CSS markets.
Sales pipeline ownership: Lead full-cycle sales for strategic, high-value accounts, from first pitch to signed contract.
3. Sales Enablement & Regional Activation
Go-to-market collateral: Partner with Product Marketing to localize commercial decks, pitch templates, ROI calculators, and contract templates across European regions.
Local team enablement: Train local country teams to position CSS alongside our existing portfolio.
4. Contracting & Governance
Contract management: Oversee contract drafting, legal reviews, billing terms, and sign-offs in coordination with Aleph Legal and Finance.
Billing alignment: Make sure client billing configurations fit smoothly into existing Aleph payment flows and credit terms.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in commercial roles, tech sales leadership, platform partnership management, or agency business development within digital advertising or e-commerce ecosystems.
Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of digital performance advertising, media agency commercial models, pay-per-click (PPC) pricing structures, and e-commerce growth metrics.
Dealmaking track record: Proven background in structuring multi-market contracts, negotiating complex service fees, and closing enterprise clients.
Organizational fit: A commercial leader with deep connections in European e-commerce advertising.
Communication and mobility: Native or fluent business English (additional European languages are an advantage; Czech or Slovak is a plus for Prague-based collaboration). Comfortable working with stakeholders across remote CEE/EEA teams.
How We Measure Success (KPIs)
Merchant adoption rate: Total count, and Gross Merchandise Value / ad spend, of merchants onboarded onto the Aleph CSS platform.
Net revenue target: Total net service-fee margin generated (retaining 10% on managed CSS spend).
Portfolio migration rate: Percentage of existing eligible Aleph e-commerce clients successfully converted to Aleph CSS.
Sales velocity: Average time to move a merchant from initial CSS pitch to signed contract.

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is CZK 728,000.
In addition to base salary, this role includes a significant performance-based variable component, paid quarterly. The final offer will reflect your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
