What you will do?

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure adequate stock levels and manage daily ingredient availability.
• Place orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow the guidance of the executive chef and sous-chef.
• Propose new dish presentations, rules, and procedures to optimize processes.
• Maintain kitchen productivity, focusing on speed and food quality.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Continuously develop innovative ideas and solutions for complex challenges.
• Constructively challenge the status quo and turn problems into opportunities.
• Foster an environment that encourages experimentation and calculated risk-taking.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through assertive communication, teamwork, and constructive conflict management.
• Plan and manage work efficiently, demonstrating autonomy, meeting objectives, and optimizing response times and workflows.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie, with strong mastery of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and modern culinary practices.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and situations.
• Solid decision‑making, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking abilities, delivering accurate results and reporting issues that impact deadlines.
• Effective collaboration with other departments, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, physically resilient, and professional during peak‑stress periods and long working hours.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction through assertive communication, active listening, teamwork, flexibility, and constructive conflict management.
• Strong planning and work‑management skills, demonstrating autonomy, compliance with objectives, adherence to standards, and care for the company’s image.
• Respect for sustainability and environmental standards, confidentiality policies, and workplace rules (including alcohol, access, and conduct guidelines).
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to influence colleagues positively while representing Discovery Land Co. as an ambassador.
