Senior SAP QTM Analyst (Quality & Test Management)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Quality & Test Management (QTM) Analyst to lead and support end-to-end testing governance across SAP and integrated enterprise applications. The role requires strong expertise in test management tools, SAP testing lifecycle management, and coordination across functional, technical, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The candidate will be responsible for test planning, execution oversight, defect governance, and test automation coordination, ensuring traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects in a regulated enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP test lifecycle activities across projects (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
• Define and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test governance frameworks
• Manage end-to-end test case design, execution tracking, and defect lifecycle
• Ensure full requirements-to-test traceability
• Coordinate with business users for UAT planning and execution
• Drive defect triage meetings, prioritization, and closure tracking
• Ensure release readiness through structured test exit criteria and sign-off
• Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to validate changes
• Monitor and report test progress, coverage, and quality KPIs
• Ensure compliance with change management and release governance processes

Tool & Platform Expertise (Mandatory)

• SAP Testing & QTM ecosystem
• Jira – defect tracking, Agile boards, reporting, workflow management
• qTest (Tricentis) – test case management, execution tracking, reporting
• Tricentis Vera / Tosca ecosystem – test automation coordination & governance
• ActiveControl (Basis Technologies) – SAP transport management & release governance
• Test management dashboards (Power BI or equivalent)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years in QA / Test Management roles, with strong SAP exposure
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA / ECC testing lifecycle
• Strong understanding of:
  • Functional testing
  • Integration testing
  • Regression testing
  • UAT coordination
• Experience in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
• Strong knowledge of defect management and root cause analysis
• Ability to manage multiple releases and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
