YOUR NEW ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst Engineer who will mainly support the People Apps and Microservices platform within the People & Culture domain. In addition to your strong technical capability, you will be a proven team player, independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues. We are part of NAB’s Melbourne-based technology team with an inclusive and friendly workplace that includes engineers from diverse backgrounds. • Conduct analysis (e.g. business, data, process, gap, and change) to define requirements and solutions
• Develop As-Is and To-Be process models
• Create process flows, data models, business rules, operating models, and reporting artefacts
• Collaborate with the Product Owner/Manager Engineer to capture, refine, and communicate business needs and product vision
• Support backlog prioritization and value definition of user stories
• Translate business needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability
• Troubleshoot SaaS application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
• Participate in workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Assess and document the business impact of proposed solutions
• Primarily support the People Apps team that consists of different third-party applications.
• Act as the key interface between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Analyze business requirements and produce clear, approved specifications for system and process changes
• Ensure vendor applications meet NAB compliance requirements
• Manage BAU attestation activities across the P&C application portfolio
• Maximize value delivery by aligning features and stories with business outcomes
• Define solution requirements and support delivery teams with clear guidance

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technology-focused projects
• Strong experience working with both business stakeholders and technical teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders effectively
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and SDLC processes
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Strong focus on delivering measurable business value
• Ability to clearly define solution requirements and support delivery teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
