About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support business decision-making through financial analysis and planning. This role will lead a team responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Monitor financial risks and implement controls to protect company assets and financial integrity.
- Improve accounting processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and automation.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital activities in collaboration with finance and treasury teams.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals.
- Coach, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of finance or accounting experience.
- Strong financial analysis and business intelligence skills.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver results.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor others.
- Adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Education
- Bachelor degree OR equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
