Our Beca Seismic Restraint Team 

Beca Seismic Restraint team is an emerging but leading provider of non-structural seismic engineering consulting services. We deliver a variety of small to very large projects across various market sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and government. Each project we work on is different, and the challenges we face constantly change. Our team thrives on challenges, and we are dedicated to technical innovation that improves our design and services. Our team are enthusiastic, young and passionate - we bring a holistic, can-do and collaborative approach for non-structural seismic engineering on every project we work on. 

Job Responsibility 

• Responsible for the structural design solutions used and checking and issuing of related design documents and drawings. 

• ​Preparing technical specifications and design instructions to meet design requirements and drafting procedures. 

• Responsible for the detail material selections, engineering calculations and design. 

• Responsible to design for seismic resilience for secondary structure. 

Job Qualifications 

• Bachelor or Master in Civil, Structural Engineer. 

• 0-8 years of experience in Civil & Structural engineering design. 

• A professional engineering qualification. 

• Knowledge of structural analysis and BIM 360, Revit, Programming (Space Gass, ETAB, SAP2000) programs would be advantage. 

• Good English communication skills and computer literate. 

• High responsibility, able to work under pressure with good working attitude, open minded and collaborative. 

• Experience in Earthquake or seismic design would be advantage. 

• Work with technical leaders from various discipline and culture.
