We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our Technology team on a 7-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave.
The role is responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Angle Finance's technical security controls.
This role focuses on securing endpoint environments, improving vulnerability management outcomes, enhancing security visibility, and supporting the organisation's overall cyber resilience.
It will require, at times, undertaking work outside of standard business hours.
You will:
- Manage and continuously improve Angle Finance's endpoint security capability.
- Administer and maintain endpoint protection technologies including EDR, MDR and XDR platforms.
- Own the operational management and configuration of Tenable, SentinelOne, and other supporting security tooling
- Support the investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents in partnership with the SOC.
- Lead vulnerability management activities across infrastructure, endpoints, cloud services, and applications.
What you bring:

- Demonstrated experience working in cyber security engineering, security operations, infrastructure, or related technology roles.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and endpoint management technologies.
- Experience administering EDR/MDR/XDR platforms such as SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, or equivalent.
- Experience managing vulnerability management programs and remediation activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or relevant degree (highly desirable).
