About ACC Casey

ACC Casey, is located at Cranbourne South (45 minutes south of Melbourne), and is a P-11, co-ed, Christian school with Secondary year groups being added each year until P-12 is catered for. We are looking for a warm, organised and service-focused School Administration Officer – Reception to provide a welcoming first point of contact and high-quality administrative support at ACC Casey.

About the role

The School Administration Officer plays an important role in the effective day-to-day operation of the College. As a key point of contact for our school community, you will provide professional and welcoming customer service while completing a broad range of administrative duties.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming students, families, visitors and contractors
• Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
• Maintaining reception, visitor sign-in and school security processes
• Supporting student attendance, late arrivals and early departures
• Providing basic assistance to students who present at reception
• Managing mail, deliveries, bookings and reception records
• Maintaining accurate student and administrative information
• Supporting enrolment and other school administration processes
• Providing general administrative assistance to school leaders and staff
• Upholding the school’s Christian ethos and providing warm, professional service

This part time (0.6FTE) role commences Term 1 2027.

• Child safety is a shared responsibility. Every person involved in our school has an important role in promoting child safety and wellbeing and promptly raising any issues or concerns about a child’s safety.
• We are committed to regularly reviewing our child safe practices, and seeking input from our students, families, staff, and volunteers to inform our ongoing strategies.

Common Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
• Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
• Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
• Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
• Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
• Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;
• Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan;
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
• Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
