About the team 

“Monitor production systems and respond to alerts and incidents. Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Document processes and maintain compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. At senior levels: lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and influence operational strategy.

Developing individual contributor role who works independently under general supervision to support departmental goals. Responsible for achieving operational targets by adjusting or recommending improvements to systems and processes. The work involves solving problems within the job area, interpreting, and explaining information to others. Communication is primarily internal, focusing on further explanation or clarification. The colleague may influence others by sharing knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures. This position typically requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence gained through a combination of advanced education and relevant experience.

What you will be doing 

Provides technical and operational support for production systems. Responsibilities range from basic monitoring and troubleshooting at entry level to strategic process improvements and leadership of major initiatives at senior levels.

• Administer and maintain SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and SAP BW environments.
• Manage users, roles, groups, and security authorizations.
• Monitor system performance, server health, and scheduled jobs.
• Troubleshoot BI platform issues and coordinate with SAP Basis, DBA, and Infrastructure teams.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and refresh activities.
• Support report scheduling, publication, and distribution processes.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
• Monitor and maintain system availability and performance.
• Create and maintain operational and technical documentation.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of SAP BI/BOBJ Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects 4.x Administration (CMC, SIA, Auditing).
• Experience with user provisioning, security, and access management.
• Knowledge of SAP BW architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Linux/Windows server environments.
• Understanding of database administration concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, or HANA).
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP HANA Administration exposure.
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) knowledge.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, or Python).
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.”
