As a SAP ABAP Developer you will support SAP finance consulting work within our SAP practice, helping clients refine finance processes and deliver software solutions that align with business needs. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, guide junior team members, and build meaningful client connections while developing your technical skills and business context. In this role at PwC, you will apply ABAP development skills to configure, customize, and support SAP finance solutions, interpret client needs, and contribute to training and implementation efforts that help clients improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing SAP finance requirements and translating business needs into technical ABAP solutions
- UIC Experience: Proven SAP ABAP development experience within Utilities Infrastructure Capacity (UIC) environments and SAP IS-U technical master data.
- Developing and enhancing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms in SAP environments
- Supporting S/4HANA finance implementations and system optimization efforts across core ERP processes
- Troubleshooting program defects, debugging code, and resolving issues that affect finance transactions and reporting
- Reviewing technical specifications and collaborating on solution design for finance transformation initiatives
- Interpreting data flows and financial process requirements to improve system functionality and reporting accuracy
- Guiding junior team members through code reviews, task planning, and issue resolution
- Building client relationships by communicating progress, clarifying technical issues, and adapting to changing project needs

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Business Admininstration/Management
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Commerce or Finance
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Computer and Information Science
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems
- Demonstrating SAP ABAP development across finance ERP environments
