Executes day-to-day lab operations & support objectives at customer facilities, following a defined standard output or set of procedures, focused on minimizing laboratory workflow interruptions. Problems and issues faced are generally recurring and solutions are typically known and/or prescribed.​ More complex problems are solved by applying methods learned through experience and/or using available support. Activities may include PPE and/or safety station checks and maintenance, reviewing defibrillators, extinguishers and dispensing areas to confirm working order, storage, tracking and distribution of chemicals/materials ensuring accurate inventory control, and hazardous waste collection and recycling. Collects, documents, and organizes data and observations. Communicates activity records, service level metrics and other information requiring some explanation or interpretation to team members, supervisors or customers.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

Als Medewerker Sample & Weighing Support ben je verantwoordelijk voor een breed takenpakket, waaronder:

• Afwegen van verschillende producten en stalen volgens vastgelegde procedures
• Verwerken en opvolgen van orders voor referentiestandaarden
• Werken met diverse systemen zoals ELN, e-Planning en CSTIM
• Registreren en in stock nemen van referentiematerialen
• Labelen en administratief verwerken van stalen
• Ontvangen, registreren en verdelen van stalen naar verschillende laboratoria
• Beheer van retainstalen en bijhorende administratie
• Uitvoeren van weegactiviteiten op samples
• Afvullen van single-use vials met behulp van het Quantos-systeem
• Ondersteunen bij controles van narcotica
• Verdelen van afgewogen orders voor interne klanten en laboratoria
• Uitvoeren van diverse administratieve taken binnen ELIMS
• Bijdragen aan een veilige, kwalitatieve en efficiënte werking van de afdeling

Wie ben jij?

• Je beschikt minimaal over een diploma secundair onderwijs (A2-niveau)
• Je bent vlot met computers en leert snel nieuwe systemen aan
• Je hebt een goede kennis van Microsoft Office, waaronder Outlook en Excel
• Je hebt een goede kennis van het Engels
• Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail
• Je kan zelfstandig werken maar functioneert ook uitstekend binnen een team
• Je bent gestructureerd, ordelijk en kwaliteitsgericht
• Je communiceert vlot met collega's, interne klanten en externe partners
• Je hebt een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en neemt initiatief waar nodig
