The OpportunityAs a Sales & Use Tax Senior Manager, you will provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, and other indirect taxes, delivering impactful solutions to enhance client outcomes.
As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and professional network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach teams to solve complex problems, applying sound judgment to recognize when to take action and when to escalate. Your ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, along with your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm.
In this role, you will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, validate outcomes with clients, and share alternative perspectives. You will direct teams through complexity, demonstrating composure in challenging situations, and initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels. Your focus on staying relevant and evolving your skills will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Leading indirect tax advisory projects, focusing on sales and use tax compliance and strategy
- Guiding clients through complex tax regulations to optimize their indirect tax positions
- Developing and implementing innovative tax solutions to address client needs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax planning services
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify tax savings opportunities and mitigate risks
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support ongoing tax advisory services
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills in indirect tax matters
- Applying systems thinking to uncover underlying tax issues and propose strategic solutions
- Validating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to refine tax strategies
- Directing teams through challenging situations, maintaining composure and focus on objectives
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
