Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of automation solutions and services for machine and factory applicationswithin a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid # LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Machine Automation division in South Korea. Main stakeholders are in the OEM business.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.

• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.

• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.

• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales with direct responsibility for sales in the Automation Industry. 

• Strong knowledge in Automation Industry and Products. 

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the execution of commercial plans and strategies 

• Demonstrated ability for building organizational capabilities and deliver high performance and excellence in sales

• Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field 

• Business-level fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Korean
