The company serves local and independent hotels and is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) who understands the Dutch hotel market and can leverage existing industry relationships to generate new business opportunities.
Job Summary
We are hiring a Dutch-speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR) with proven experience in hotel technology, Property Management Systems (PMS), Revenue Management Systems (RMS), or similar hospitality SaaS solutions.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who already has an established network or active pipeline of local and independent hotels in the Netherlands.
The ideal candidate understands hotel operations, knows how to engage hotel owners and decision-makers, and can turn existing industry connections into qualified sales opportunities.
Important: Native Dutch fluency and direct hotel technology experience are mandatory. Experience exclusively in restaurant technology does not qualify.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage local and independent hotels across the Netherlands.
- Leverage an existing network of hotel owners, general managers, and hospitality decision-makers to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Execute outbound sales campaigns through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and relationship-based prospecting.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified hotel prospects.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand hotel technology needs, operational challenges, and buying priorities.
- Communicate the value of hospitality SaaS solutions to hotel decision-makers.
- Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate prospect information, activities, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with the wider sales team to achieve lead generation and meeting-booking targets.
Requirements
- Native Dutch speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills (mandatory).
- Proven experience in hotel technology, including PMS, RMS, booking engines, channel managers, or similar hotel-focused SaaS (mandatory; restaurant tech does not qualify).
- Existing network or active pipeline of local and independent hotels in the Netherlands (mandatory).
- Based in the Netherlands, with strong knowledge of the Dutch hospitality market and independent hotel sector.
- Experience in B2B outbound sales, lead generation, prospecting, or business development.
- Established relationships with hotel owners, general managers, and key decision-makers.
- Proven ability to generate qualified leads, book meetings, and build sales pipelines.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
- Professional English proficiency is a plus.
