The Sales Analyst, ADUSA position plays a critical role in enabling customer teams to drive business performance. This role translates data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across assortment, pricing, promotion, forecasting, and trade investment. It exists to ensure that customer plans are informed by strong analytical rigor and aligned with Mars Pet Nutrition's growth objectives.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree required  
• 2+ years of experience in business analytics, category management, commercial planning, or customer development (preferably in CPG or retail).
• Proficient in syndicated data systems (Nielsen, Circana, etc.) retail portals, and internal sales forecast and financial management tools.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex data into simple to understand insights and actionable recommendations.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What would be your key responsibilities?

   Business Analysis & Insight Development

• Analyze business performance across key metrics (sales, supply, margin, share, households) using multiple data sources.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across item-level performance, promotions, new item launches, out of stocks, and competitive activity.

• Develop actionable insights with clear narratives explaining what, why, and associated actions.

    Forecasting & Operations

• Provide detailed forecasting support by analyzing consumption run rates, distribution shifts, display changes, and new items.
• Own compilation of period forecasting file for ADUSA submission.

• Manage operations-related tasks such as Compass/Financial system upkeep, new item submissions, and price change processing.

  Reporting & Performance Measurement

• Deliver regular reporting including consumption performance recaps, new item and feature performance, competitive recaps, and customer meeting insights.
• Prepare data and presentations for key customer milestones such as quarterly business reviews, lines reviews, and other customer needs.
• Create tools, new processes, mechanisms and automation to drive efficiency and improve sales.

This role is based in our Franklin, TN with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including occasional remote work.
