Sobre esta vaga de Revenue Operations Manager na Vortexa
About Us:
Vortexa was founded to solve the immense information gap that exists in the energy industry. By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view of global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets.
With offices in London, New York, Houston, Singapore, Geneva and the UAE, we are building the definitive platform for energy and freight analytics globally - backed by leading investors including Morgan Stanley & Notion Capital.
The Role:
We are seeking a commercially minded Revenue Operations Manager to own the post-sales side of our revenue engine, based in our London office. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations and working closely with the VP of Customer Success, you will bridge Sales Ops and Customer Lifecycle Ops - making sure the customer journey from signature to renewal and expansion runs on clean data, sharp processes and well-timed signals.
You’ll be the operational partner to our Customer Success leadership, Account Managers, CSMs and Finance, turning product usage and contract data into early warnings, expansion opportunities and predictable renewals. This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys designing the system and rolling up their sleeves to run it.
It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to shape post-sales operations at a scaling SaaS business, while learning about one of the world’s most impactful and complex industries.
Your core priorities:
- Expansion and renewal signals: design and run the signal framework that surfaces expansion, upsell and renewal risk early - combining product usage, conversation insights, customer health data and Salesforce contract data into clear, actionable views for AMs and CSMs
- Automation and escalation precision engine: build customer intelligence automations that route the right alert to the right owner at the right time, with defined escalation paths when an account shows risk
- Entitlements, onboarding, and offboarding: own entitlement accuracy across Salesforce, CPQ and product access - ensuring customers get exactly what they’ve bought, and that downgrades, churn and offboarding are handled cleanly and on time
- Processes and playbooks: design, document and continuously improve post-sales playbooks across onboarding, adoption, renewals and expansion, so our CS and AM teams run a consistent, measurable motion
In this role you will also:
- Partner with CS leadership on onboarding, engagement, adoption and retention processes, including time-to-value tracking and health scoring
- Run the renewals operating rhythm with CS and Finance - renewal pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy and on-time renewals
- Administer Salesforce CPQ for post-sales motions (renewals, amendments, upsells) and own compliance and adherence to standard policies, ensuring renewal intent is documented well ahead of term end
- Own post-sales systems architecture and data flows across the tech stack, including but not limited to Salesforce, CPQ, Customer Success Platforms, Product Usage and Engagement tools, keeping data clean, connected and trusted
- Apply AI tooling to automate analysis, accelerate insight and strip manual admin out of the post-sales workflow
- Work internally with enablement to deliver content to AMs and CSMs on systems, processes and playbooks, so new ways of working actually stick
- Own book-of-business allocation for AMs and CSMs, working with Sales Ops to keep coverage balanced and aligned to territory design
- Report on post-sales KPIs - gross and net revenue retention, renewal rates, expansion pipeline and health trends - as part of our weekly business review cadence
Requirements
You will have:
- At least 4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, CS Operations or Sales Operations at a B2B SaaS company, with meaningful exposure to post-sales motions
- Hands-on Salesforce expertise, including Salesforce CPQ knowledge (bonus)
- Experience with Customer Success Platforms, and other key CS tech stack tools
- A track record of building automations, health scores or signal frameworks that changed how a team acted
- A strong grasp of subscription mechanics - ARR, NRR, GRR, renewals, amendments and co-terming
- Practical AI proficiency - comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to build workflows, analyse data and automate repetitive work
- The ability to translate between Sales, CS and Finance, and earn trust with senior stakeholders
- A structured, proactive approach - you spot the gap, design the fix and ship it without waiting to be asked
Great if you have:
- Experience bridging Sales Ops and CS Ops in a single role, or having worked on both sides of the handover.
- Salesforce Admin or CPQ certification, and familiarity with data or integration tooling such as SQL, Snowflake or Zapier.
- A genuine interest in the energy, freight, commodities space or wider data & analytics - experience in the sector is a plus.
