Are you proactive, detail-oriented and enthusiastic to learn new things in a corporate environment? The U-Haul Retirement Benefits Department (within Finance) is looking for a motivated, friendly, fast-learning individual to join the retirement benefits team. In this role, you will learn and teach others about the U-Haul Retirement Benefit Plans, provide support to fellow team members regarding their retirement benefit accounts, and help those same team members on their journeys to Retire with Dignity.
Job responsibilities:
- Expected to work everyday in office, Monday through Friday during regular business hours at the corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and e-mails.
- Administrate the Dealer Financial Security Program for retired dealers and the 401(k) and ESOP for U-Haul team members.
- Assist team members with their retirement benefits needs.
- Update records and track account activity.
- Weekly processing, documentation and research on data errors and activity on company accounts.
- Communicate regularly with third-party administrator (Fidelity)Maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both in writing and orally.
- Experience or a desire to learn software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Friendly, patient, approachable, humble and can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior organization skills.
- Curiosity, and willingness to learn and explore.
- The ability to be punctual to a work schedule and routine tasks.
- A team player attitude and strong work ethic.
- The ability to work in a collaborative team environment, but also work independently.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Professional decorum and trustworthiness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, when needed.
Desired Skills– Not Required:
- 1-2 years of work experience related to customer service.
- Knowledge of retirement benefit plans.
- Financial-industry related experience.
- Ability to speak a second language.
