Your next career opportunity
You will support high-impact translational and health services research in palliative care across clinical and community settings.
You will expand your mixed-methods skills while contributing to better outcomes for people with advanced illness. You will work closely with leading clinicians, researchers, consumers and community partners in the Palliative Nexus group.

What you will deliver:

  • Support day-to-day conduct of palliative care research projects, including recruitment, data collection, entry, cleaning and record management.
  • Manage and maintain high-quality research datasets from clinical records, surveys, interviews, registries and patient-reported outcome measures.
  • Undertake descriptive quantitative analysis and contribute to qualitative or mixed-methods analysis under senior researcher guidance.
  • Assist with ethics and governance submissions, reporting, study documentation, secure data storage and compliance with approvals and policies.
  • Contribute to scholarly outputs, presentations and knowledge translation materials for academic, clinical, consumer and community audiences.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in health, public health, psychology, social science or related discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting research in health, academic or clinical settings, including data collection and study documentation.
  • Bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing tasks and timelines.
  • Contribute to quantitative, qualitative or mixed-methods analysis, reporting, publications, presentations or knowledge translation activities.
  • Use or quickly learn tools such as REDCap, Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, NVivo or similar platforms.
  • Show genuine interest in palliative care, oncology, implementation science, health equity or health services research.
