With more than 300 days of sunshine each year and surrounded by some of Australia’s most stunning landscapes, Townsville, North Queensland is a glorious place to work.
Magnetic Island is just a short ferry ride away, stunning beaches and walks are on your doorstep as well as the Queensland Country Bank stadium where huge sporting events – and international music acts such as Foo Fighters and Guns N Roses – are already on the 2026 calendar.
The Townsville Bulletin is looking for an all-rounder who is comfortable covering everything from breaking news, court and local council to business, health, Defence, education and everything in between.
