Registered Nurse – Scrub/Scout | Buderim Hospital  

 

  • Employment Term: Permanent Full Time, Part Time or Casual Opportunities Available 

  • Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD 

  • Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team  

As part of our Theatre team, you will accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals undergoing a range of procedures, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary Theatre team, applying exceptional communication and team work skills. 

 

What makes a difference for us? 

  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience as Scrub Scout essential 

  • Orthopaedic Experience  

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent 

  • Current AHPRA practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse 

  • Adaptability and resilience in busy, clinically complex environment 

  • Flexibility to work all shifts 

  • A commitment toward the mission of UnitingCare Hospitals and the attainment of the goals of the Nursing Division. 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices. 

  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
