As an RN, you'll play a critical role in guiding patients through their surgical journey, providing expert care before and after procedures while delivering reassurance, education, and compassionate support. What You'll Do
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
Complete patient assessments, review medical histories, and initiate IV therapy.
Monitor vital signs and assess patients for pain, complications, and recovery progress.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, discharge instructions, and home recovery.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Promote patient safety and uphold infection prevention and regulatory standards.
Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including CPR when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
1 yrs Med Tele/Med Surg or SDS experience preferred.
