Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an Account Manager – New Business to join our ever evolving Sales team within Global Payments and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you'll own
Identify, develop, and win new merchant business opportunities across your assigned territory, driving sustainable revenue growth
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and contract signature
Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, banks, ECR partners, and other lead-generation channels
Present payment solutions and value-added services, tailoring recommendations to customer needs and business objectives
Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and onboarding progress to ensure successful customer acquisition and long-term value
What you'll bring
Proven experience in new business development, sales, or account management, ideally within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to acquire new customers
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage territory planning and sales activities independently
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
Strong organizational, reporting, and analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
It's a bonus if you have
Experience working with merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or value-added payment services
Established network within banking, retail, hospitality, or related sectors
Experience collaborating with referral partners or indirect sales channels
Additional requirements
Valid Category B driving license
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Collaborative approach with a strong commitment to customer success and team performance
